The ideal shape for your eyebrows is as follows: :

The ideal shape for your eyebrows is as follows: *please ignore how thin and sparse mine are-I’m aware and it’s natural!

They should begin directly above your inner corner :

Using a white liner pencil, draw your ideal eyebrow shape. Tweeze or wax the hairs that fall outside of the white area. I use Wet and Wild Eyeliner in White. :

You can also buy eyebrow stencils and use them to help you groom and fill in when you’re applying your makeup. :

You can also buy eyebrow stencils and use them to help you groom and fill in when you’re applying your makeup. I use Duo Eyebrow Stencils, available at CVS (in the false eyelash/cosmetic brush section-I use the Glamorous shape for mine)

I lay them over my natural eyebrows, hold them tight against my skin and fill them in with a brown eyeshadow and a crease brush. The brush here isn’t the one I use to fill in-this is the one I use for finishing. :

Then, I take a thin angle brush with the same shadow and touch up each end by extending the outer end and squaring off the inner end. Then, simply tweeze or wax what falls outside of this shape. Since my brows are so sparse and thin, I like this method better because it gives me a fuller shape. This is also how I do my brows when applying makeup.

To finish grooming, take a brow/lash comb and comb your eyebrow hairs directly up. Any hair that is longer than the top border of your eyebrow should be snipped. This prevents those long, horrible hairs and gives your brows a very neat, well-groomed appearance. :

For makeup application, the ideal eyebrow pencil/powder color is one shade lighter than the color of your eyebrows. Although they make special brow powder/pencils/etc, I find that using regular eyeshadow and eyeliner pencils work just fine. :
