Animal Species Inventory database of China : Animal Species Inventory database of China Supported by BRIM project Beginning from 1991 Inventory information of all animals distributed in China Collected data from scientists (butterfly, beetle, etc.), monographs (bird, mammal, etc.) Form framework of species database One of most important database in CBIS, Initiate the CBIS database system 19500 species and subspecies of vertebrate and insect by 2001

Endangered Animal Database : Endangered Animal Database Funded by CAS and MOST from 1991 Collect information from monographs, such as Red Book of China Endangered Animals, etc. Contain species name, common name, product name, English name, endangered category, protected category, threatening factor, protecting measurement, picture, etc. About 600 records


Animal Name Database : Animal Name Database Names about animals in the world Collected from dictionaries and monographs More than 74,000 records Containing scientific name, Chinese name, English name, publishing year and author Including Vertebrate and invertebrate
