For personal safety and of others, all safety rules must be followed in the Physical Education facilities and classroom.

CLASSROOM RULES FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AT ALL TIMES RAISE YOUR HAND BEFORE SPEAKING KEEP HANDS AND FEET TO YOURSELF USE YOUR INSIDE VOICE DURING CLASS TIME RESPECT THE PROPERTY OF OTHERS PLEASE GET PERMISSION BEFORE LEAVING YOUR SEAT HAVE FUN IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION 

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES QUESTIONS PROCEDURES Raise hand and wait to be called upon before speaking. Limit questioning to eliminate excessive questioning per students. Use inside voice to avoid distractions in the classroom. Questions will pertain to subject matter unless there is an emergency.

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES Upon ringing of the bell, student will remain seated until teacher’s dismissal. Student will exit the room quietly in a single line. Student will walk on the right side of the corridor. Student will keep hands and feet to themselves and refrain from horse playing.

HALL TRAVELING PROCEDURES Student will keep to the right of the corridors at all time when all traveling. Student will stay in numeric order assigned by the teacher. Student will keep hands and feet and objects away from others. Student will refrain from all noises when traveling the corridors

Slide 10: 

HANDLING OF P.E. EQUIPMENT PROCEDURES At no time, will student remove gym equipments from bag without the teacher’s consent. Student will refrain from improper use of equipments to eliminate injuries and ensure safety of themselves and others. All metal gym equipments will not be tampered with the teacher gives further instructions.

CLASS PREPARATION PROCEDURES Student will arrive to class on time and as scheduled. Student will bring appropriate gym clothing daily for dress out participation. Student will report to assigned area for warm-ups. Student should be prepared to participate in Physical Education activities.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES Student will report all illnesses and injuries immediately to the teacher. In extreme emergency, teacher will designate student to report to the office for assistance. Teacher will only administer first aid kit contents. Students are not authorized to utilize the first aid kit.

Slide 13: 

COLLECTING/DISTRIBUTING CLASSROOM MATERIAL Paper, pencil and other classroom material will be given to each student on the front row. Each student will continue to past to the next student behind them until the last student has received materials. Students will not leave their seat to obtain needed classroom items. Teacher will collect all material from the last student in the row.

CLASSROOM ENTRANCE Students will quietly enter the room and place all bookbags, bags and coats in designated areas. Students will seat in assigned desk. Student will sit and quietly begin the task (bellringer) on the board. Materials will be on the desk. Students will raise their hand for questioning or any comments.
