By Bush Acar WHY??? Because my home store managers are incapable of communicating with one another thus leaving me with no scheduled shifts……… GRRRRRRR!!! So I decided to utilize my ample free time to do something useful!! Half Day New York City Adventure!!

Purpose: Since we have a very short time to spend our first day in NYC, I thought it would be a good idea to come up with a plan (s)! :

All of the following is based on 2:15 arrival time of all of our team members at Newark Liberty. ~Pending no delays or missed flights!!~ These are total suggestions . We don’t need to follow them at all. However If you have a better plan please share!!  DON’T miss your flight….. Or Jim gets like this!!!!

What to do? What to do?? Our options are limited with time but we will make the best of it. NYC ? Plan: A Plan: B Plan: C Plan: X Plan: L Stay at the hotel. 

Plan: A Stop 1: After arriving to the city, go to one of the tall buildings. Empire State or the Rockefeller Building. Hang out in their observation decks and be all touristy. Take pictures, buy random souvenirs to take home, people watch and possibly watch the sunset!! ( I volunteer to hold someone's hand if it is a really romantic) (moment that needs/requires a warm embrace ) Stop 2: We are hungry probably it is time to eat!! Options are almost limitless!! *Requesting to eat Chicken Wings is frowned upon! I will give you dirty looks!! and I highly recommend this awesome place called Buffalo Wild Wings. *Deep Dish pizza …. NO!! Wrong city!!! STOP3: Times Square!! The Crossroads of the World“ or “The Great White Way” ( Why does it have to be about color!!!, I guess we will find out) We will say hi to the Naked Cowboy !! Protect him from Amber’s extremely direct sexual advances!!!! YOU know it is going to happen!! ( I love you Amber) Stop 4: Find a cool bar for a nice night cap. Toast to the next two awesome weeks!! (Red headed sluts all around…… CHEERS!!) GO BACK TO THE HOTEL around 11ish

Plan: B Saying Hi to the Lady!! Stop1: Get to the tip of Manhattan by Subway. Get off either at the Fulton Stop (very close to the towers or at Bowling Green (Bronze Charging Bull) Walk around pay our respect or just go directly to Battery Park which is next to our next stop. Stop 2: Take the FREE!! Staten Island Ferry to where else ,Staten Island . Say hi to Lady Liberty and take in the skyline of the city from a boat. It is a 25 minute ride . They sell beer and snacks in the boat!! Stop3: Go back to Manhattan with the ferry. Stop 4: Revert back to Plan A Stop3. Times Square!

Plan: C Stop 1: Pick your favorite museum, try to come up with an awesome argument on why we should go there on a Saturday afternoon. If it is a good argument that wins over the group we are following you!! Time for us to get our learn on!! Some cool museums in town: Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum American Museum of Natural History (Central Park) American Sex Museum ;) Museum of Modern Art. Ripley’s Believe It or Not. And many many more… Stop 2: Food and then The Times Square! Stop3: An Awesome bar possibly with some live music!

~Possible Watering Holes~ *Ginger Man This polished Murray Hill pub serves a mind-boggling 66 draught beers, as well as 152 by the bottle. *McSorley's Old Ale House Oldest "Irish" tavern in New York City *Joe's Pub: Nightclub that hosts live performances regularly *McGees Pub & Restaurant The bar that inspired the bar from "How I met your mother!" *Coyote Ugly Girls dancing on top of the bar…. Enough said. There is a movie go watch it!! Always Remember !!! ;that you cant fight the moonlight!! Why did I listen the foreign guy!!!!

Plan: X We get to the city together, however we all do things separately . Totally messing up our team MoJo!! Meet back up at the train station at the end of the night. All alone in probably one of the scariest cities in the world!! Plan: L L stands for Lame!! You are not cool like the rest of us, too tired or just came up with some bad excuse to hang out at the hotel. Same hotel that we will be living in for the next 14 days!! We don’t judge but that doesn’t mean that we are happy with your decision. What else is going on April 9th in New York *Rally to oppose wars, condemn terrorism* New York Tartan week starts( Scottish people are everywhere, it is ok for guys) (to wear a skirt…… I am so game!)
