October “Once Upon A Time”: 

October “Once Upon A Time” Scouts learn about the “bigger than life” characters in the land of make believe… Fall Family Camping $5.00 Halloween Party $1.50 Build Pack camping around one or more of these characters: Pecos Bill in the Old West, Paul Revere in the East, Paul Bunyan in the Northwest, etc.

November “Pilgrims of Plymouth Rock”: 

November “Pilgrims of Plymouth Rock” Scouts can reenact the first Thanksgiving, with games and contests in addition to a bountiful meal… Raingutter Regatta $5.00 Pack or Den meetings can be built around games Pilgrim and Indian boys would have enjoyed

December “A Cub Scout Gives Goodwill”: 

December “A Cub Scout Gives Goodwill” Scouts learn about the spirit of Scouting and the meaning of the season by performing a good deed for for someone in need during the holiday season… Christmas Party $3.00 Volunteer in a soup kitchen Free

January “Home Alone”: 

January “Home Alone” This month is a good time to review basic first aid, emergency plans, how to call for help, and family rules when boys are home alone… Pinewood Derby $5.00 Have the Red Cross, a local nurse, or a doctor visit a Pack meeting to discuss basic age-appropriate first aid

February “Fiesta!”: 

February “Fiesta!” It’s party time for Scouting, and what better way to celebrate than with a Mexican flavor… Blue & Gold Banquet $9.00 Scout Sunday (Service Project) Free Boys will learn about that country’s festive traditions as they make cascarones and fill pinatas for the Blue & Gold banquet

March “Walk In My Shoes”: 

March “Walk In My Shoes” Scouts will spend this month exploring the world and experiences of those who face challenges every day… Indoor Rock Climbing $15.00 Service Project - Scouting for Food The Pack meeting can be built around learning sign language. A disabilities awareness course can also be built where boys can complete specific tasks at each station without the benefit of two or more senses.

April “Cubservation”: 

April “Cubservation” This month boys will learn about the importance of conservation and ecology… Spring Family Camping $5.00 Have a conservationist or park ranger come to your Pack meeting or campout to talk about the dangers and effects of pollution and littering

May “My Home State”: 

May “My Home State” This month boys will find out what’s special about their state… Zoo Visit $5.00 Invite a guest speaker to the Pack meeting who can share something special about your state with the boys

June “Cub Rock”: 

June “Cub Rock” The boys can learn about prehistoric times. What a good month to explore geology and learn about dinosaurs… Summer Day Camp $70

July “Fin Fun”: 

July “Fin Fun” Dive right in as Scouts spend a month learning about water – one of our most precious resources... Swim Party $2.00 This is an excellent opportunity to teach Scouts about water conversation and “catch-and-release” programs. Don’t forget to learn about water safety.

August “Scouting the Midway”: 

August “Scouting the Midway” This month is full of fun and games. Pack Cookout $3.00 The boys can design and build midway games at their den meetings and then run their game at the Pack cookout.
