He preferred to start his own enterprise -- Food king Catering Service -- in Ahmadabad. It was a dream come true, when Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murthy lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated Sarathbabu's enterprise. Slide 4: Family background He was brought in a slum in Madipakkam in Chennai. Two elder sister. Two younger brother. mother was the sole breadwinner of the family. Inspiration to be an entrepreneurhis mother is the prime inspirationE.deeparamani ji : Inspiration to be an entrepreneurhis mother is the prime inspirationE.deeparamani ji read in the papers that 30 per cent of India's population does not get two meals a day. also read about Infosys and Narayana Murthy, Reliance and Ambani. Reliance employed 20,000-25,000 people at that time, and Infosys, around 15,000. When a single entrepreneur like Ambani employed 25,000 people, he was supporting the family, of four or five, of each employee. So he was taking care of 100,000 people indirectly. I felt I, too, should become an entrepreneur. Foodking Catering Services Pvt Ltd : Foodking Catering Services Pvt Ltd experience as the mess secretary at IIM-A handled at least a thousand complaints and a thousand suggestions at that time. Every time he solved a problem, his classmate always appreciate him. From there he got an inspiration to start catering services First client was a software company to supply tea, coffee and snacks got the order from IIM, Ahmedabad, Ambition : Ambition Wants to employ 15000 employ in the coming five year Personal ambition to give a house and a car to his mother.
