Southbound travelers seem more interested in their newspapers and mobile phones. Could this be a sign of increased affluence? The northbound train appears to be not as crowded as the southbound train. Why not? The southbound train empties almost as soon as it reaches downtown. Does no one travel south at the start of the work day? Valid observations all.
