Explore the Himalayas FROZEN RIVER TREK ZANSKAR As the name suggests this is the route which goes along the frozen Zanskar River. Its a minimum of a 6-day trek that connects the villages of the Zanskar Valley with the village of Chilling which lies on the road to Leh. In the month of late Jan and early Feb the river gets freezed and its used as a pathway by trekkers all around. An average of -10C during the day and -20 to -25 at night makes trekking here an experience of lifetime. The toughness level of this trek certainly defines trekking in the Indian Himalayas.
