Limited release in 2004 for IRL, ChampCar, and Australian V8s. Collected 7 race wins in 6 months. Intended for Formula Car and Sports Car/Sedan racing.Introduction To The TTX-40: 4way - twin tube - thru-shaft. 12mm shaft – 40mm piston. Main piston is a solid piece with no shims. Low speed and high speed valves for both compression and rebound are side by side in the cylinder head. The reservoir is placed in-line with the main body. Shaft bushings are fixed in place at either ends of the cylinder tube. Low Friction! Introduction To The TTX-40 Assy DrawingIntroduction To The TTX-40: Entire range of valving options consists of 2 poppet sizes, 4 springs rates, and 5 shim thicknesses. The adjustability, range of forces and graph shape. Rebleeding the damper to purge air is not necessary each time you revalve. A circulation type damper that keeps all pressures at or above the pressure of the nitrogen charge. One set of 4 TTX dampers has the flexibility to do the job of 2 sets of conventional dampers with different valvings. Introduction To The TTX-40Explanation Of The TTX Concept: Explanation Of The TTX Concept Thru-shaft. Dual, fixed bushings. No nose pressure. No fluid displacement. Small gas volume. Circulation Type Damper. Positive pressure rise. No cavitation. No Main Piston Shims. Allows simple revalving. Identical compression and rebound valves.
