god Khnum. Was the ghost double. It was the companion
Of the body. It tried to guide person to MAAT.

It entered the body after birth.
At death it was freed to travel the
World but for its safety it must return
to tomb at night. The paintings, statues
and inscriptions draw the BAH back
to the tomb.
The Ahk and the Judgement: The Ahk and the Judgement The ahk lives within the heart it holds the thoughts, memories and actions of a person. The Ahk is weighed on a scale against MAAT.
Maat is truth, order justice and righteousness. Maat may be shown as a white feather or as a seated goddess with the feather over her head.
The jackal-headed god Anubis oversees the weighing of the ahk.
Thoth, the ibis–headed scribe records the result. Osiris and the other
gods sit in awaiting the result.
