Background: 

Background An evaluation (2001) of the Council showed the lack of forward studies as policy instrument Several national scenario studies, but no study related to research and knowledge production The need for more open and dialogue based methods of working in researsh priority setting

Objectives: 

Objectives Increase quality in processes related to long term priority setting Develop a national foresight platform Identify key areas for new knowledge Partnership and participation: Develop open and inclusive methods of working

The Synthesis Report Working out the future RCN platform on using foresight as a tool for strategic dialogue and planning. Acting at external dialogue-arenas created by the foresight reports.
