This is a map of Sidney.-----------kangaroos: kangaroos Kangaroos are masupials. Baby kangaroos are born out-side of their mum’s tummy in a special pouch.Wombats: Wombats Wombats are mammals. They are nocturnal. They are herbivores –they like grasses, trees roots and soft mosses. They are very shy.Crocodile: Crocodile Saltwater crocodile has been reported to grow to length of 7 metres!, but the average size of saltwater. Crocodiles are 4 metres long. Brushtail Possum.: The brush tail possum like it’s relative the ring tailed possum, is widespread in Australia and is a major pest since it was introduced to New Zealand. It is an arboreal marsupial. Brushtail Possum.Koalas: Koalas The Koala is one of Australian best known animals. It is an icon represesend when promototing Australia to the tourist industy, and in general people adore these cuddly creatures. Platypus: Platypus The Platypus is found in eastern Australia. They live aside freshwater rivers or lakes, and create burrows for shelter and protection. They are active mainly at night time hours, and use their webbed feet for swimming.Bush baby: Bush baby A Bush baby is about 30cm long The Bush baby can jump as far as a football pitch, HUMUNGES!!!!!!!!! They have very wide eyes. They can hear their pray before they even see it. Tasmanian devel : Tasmanian devel Tasmanian Devels have very sharp teeth, they look cutie but they are very furious . A Tasmanian Devel is one of the furoius animals around the hole of Australia. Eastern Barred Bandicoot: Eastern Barred Bandicoot The Eastern barred bandicoot only survives in Victoria and Tansmania. There is more of a population in Tansmania, in Victoria the only known population can be found in the western basalt plains.Tasmanian tigers: Tasmanian tigers The thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus) is one of the most fabled animals in the world. Yet, despite its fame, it is one of the least understood of Tasmania's native animals. European settlers were puzzled by it, feared it and killed it when they could. After only a century of white settlement the animal had been pushed to the brink of extinction. Full details of the demise of the thylacine can be found at our threatenend species site. Australia flag: Australia flag Spider: Spider Spiders are predatory invertebrate animals that have two body segments, eight legs, no chewing mouth parts and no wings. They are classified in the order Araneae, one of several orders within the larger class of arachnids, a group which also contains scorpions, whip scorpions, mites, tick, and opiliones (harvestmen). The study of spiders is known as arachnology. All spiders produce silk, a thin, strong protein strand extruded by the spider from spinnerets most commonly found on the end of the abdomen. Many species use it to trap insects in webs, although there are also many species that hunt freely. Silk can be used to aid in climbing, form smooth walls for burrows, build egg sacs, wrap prey, and temporarily hold sperm, among other applicationsMoney: Money The 1c and 2c coins were phased out in 1990. Shops round prices up or down to the nearest 5c on your total bill, not on individual items. The notes are: $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. Coins: 5c 10c 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 Sports: Sports Basketball began as a game of skill rather than one that relied solely on strength. But in today's fast-paced game, both are needed in equal measure. The modern game has become one of aerobic endurance and power, and players need to have an integrated training program that nurtures both of these qualities. This is where the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Basketball program excels. Food: Food Australian cuisine has the most diverse range, quality, and inventiveness than many others in the world. However, it took Australia some time to evolve from the scenes of meat pies, Vegemite sandwiches, and sausage rolls to the scene of dishes such as "seared kangaroo fillet with wilted beetroot greens and roasted onions". The culinary art of Australia only luxuriated in the 1990s. But at that time, it was already considered the most adventurous in the world. Each capital city has seen a swarm of new restaurants within the genre 'Modern Australia' cuisine, with inventive chefs at the helm and an audience of willing hedonists at the ready. This culinary reawakening is due to two factors: the wealth of superlative Australian produce, including native food, and the plethora of international cuisine brought to Australia by its immigrants from all over the world.
