Slide1 : “Terrorism Law is an emerging discipline critical to understanding the complex balance between global security and civil justice.”


Slide2 : The goal of the Center is to examine current and potential legal issues related to terrorism in light of the challenge of achieving and maintaining a proper balance between global security and civil justice. This goal is pursued through professional exchanges such as symposia, consultations and training; writing, teaching, commenting on and publishing written materials; and ensuring access to extensive information resources regarding terrorism. EVENTS : EVENTS The Center is committed to educational and academic excellence as evidenced through participation in varied local, national and international events, which are designed to explore the relationship between global security and civil justice. AFFILIATIONS : AFFILIATIONS In order to develop an integrated approach to terrorism law, the Center for Terrorism Law is affiliated with a variety of institutions – educational, government, military, business and media – to address issues that have impact across multiple disciplines related to homeland security concerns. These strategic partnerships include communication and collaboration in education, training, research and support. Key Partnerships include: Institute for the Protection of American Communities (IPAC) United States Northern Command/Homeland Security Defense Education Consortium Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS)
