Day in Illinois Survey On May 5, 2005, students took an on-line Survey to learn more about the other students who are participating in the A Day in Illinois Project and their communities.

The Collaboratory’s Scariest Stories The Scariest Cybrary The Scariest Survey The Scariest Stories Nexus In the Collaboratory’s Scariest Stories Project, students were invited to use their imagination to write, illustrate and/or record a scary story they have authored. They then shared and discussed their stories with students across the state.

The Scariest Cybrary Students submit links and examine websites about local legends and other scary stories and scary places in their region.

The Scariest Survey Participants used the survey to learn more about the other students who were part of the Scariest Story Project, what they like to do on Halloween and what they are scared of.

The Scariest Stories Nexus Students shared and discussed their stories in the Nexus Community.

What I am Most Thankful For The Thanksgiving Survey What I am Most Thankful For Nexus Community Students will use their creativity to write, record and illustrate a story they have authored about what they are most thankful for. They will then share this story with their peers in the rest of the state and discuss each other's essays.

The 2006 Rebecca Caudill Book Club In this project, created by tech coordinator Lori Abrahams of Grayslake, students take a survey on their favorite kinds of books and learn about the nominees. They then submit reviews of the books they have read and discuss them with one another. Finally, they vote on their favorite 2006 book. What is Illinois Reading? The Rebecca Caudill Internet Book Club Students submit reviews of the books they have read in the Internet Book Club (IBC). They then use the IBC discussion area to talk about the books with their fellow reviewers.

Day in Our Neighborhood 04/05/06 Survey On April 5, 2006, students took an on-line Survey and learned more about the other students who were participating in the Day in Our Neighborhood Project and their communities. They collected the data about their community and analyzed it.

Day in Our Neighborhood 04/05/06 Nexus Community On April 5, 2006, students from Canada, Florida and Illinois took pictures of their community and some recorded audio, as well. They posted their photographs and audio clips in the Nexus, along with descriptions and shared them with other students.
