Presentation Description

The first human right is the right to live. Yet, in China, each year, 1.7 million girls are "missing." As an author studying the subject, I was appalled at the silence by all human rights and health organizations--as well as governments. I conducted a statistical analysis and presented it at the U.N. Committee on the Status of Women. This slide represents some of the findings. The entire presentation--and my writing on the subject--can be found on my website: www.TaliaCarner.com
