One of my favorite memories of all time: I was assigned to Ramstein AB in Germany in 1992. The day I arrived on base, my sponsor picked me up when I got off the bus. He drove me to meet my boss and coworkers then he drove me to my dorm. After getting my room assigned, he helped me get my bags up to my room. He asked if I wanted to see the base. I said I had a friend there and I was going to see him. He left and I was right behind. I walked straight down the street to the address Duke gave me. Went in and up to his room. I got up there and he was in his room playing games with several friends. As soon as I walked in, he stopped what he was doing. We went out and started walking the base. We walked for hours. He showed me everything I needed to see and told me everything I needed to know about the base. He made going to another country an awesome experience!- Kevin Brewer :

Of all the fellas I know, you deserve it. You are truly one of the funniest people created and a joy to be around. When you and Tara left Auburn and Farmville, it left a huge hole that hasn’t been filled by anyone. But I have followed your life through your Mom and through Facebook and I have been so proud of your accomplishments. You have worked hard to make a great life for you and your wife. I have seen how hard you work, how hard you have fun and really, just how hard you live life!! You seem to take a great joy out of each moment and live it to the fullest. One of the best moments in my life was May 25, 1971 @ 2:44 AM. The first time I saw that little bald head I lost my heart. He still has part of it. He was a joy as he grew up and he is still a joy today. Love ya man, Mama
