HD Logistics Services Shipment Management – Review all of the purchase orders as they are received to evaluate the freight requirements of each P.O., including packaging, number of trucks, ship date, and arrival date. Carrier Selection - Match the product to the appropriate carrier based on two main criteria: product requirement, and arrival requirements. Product requirements include specifications like air ride trucks and/or blanket wrapping. Arrival requirements include issues related to expediting. Cost Tracking -Throughout the shipping process, track the freight costs and review the best alternatives to meet the budget requirements.

HD Logistics Services Insurance -Ensure that full value/liability coverage is available on all truck loads and shipments. PO Expediting -Maintain a complete staff to expedite and trace shipments. Weekly status reports are sent to the customer via email. Freight Tracking -In the process of automating tracking via a web-based tracking system. Freight Claims - Handle/ process all freight claims on behalf of the customer.
