SR1 cosmic run Insertion of SCT into TRT : 9th Jan 2006 Combined tests : Feb – April 2006 Schedule Performance test of SCT + TRT combined in real setting Alignment of detector’s geometry Motivation Setup 60 x 150 cm scintillators are mounted on top and bottom.

Cosmic simulation in ATHENA 891 Event with (x-y) and (z-y) 2927 8 point hit events 22965 Event trigger 500k Event generation Simulating 500k events in ATHENA 11.0.2. Energy range of muons is set to 0.5 – 200 GeV. Trigger rate (estimate) is 14Hz.
