On today’s show I’ll be talking to Cristobal who won the Olympic gold medal in tennis at last week’s Olympic Games. Welcome to the show Cristobal Cristobal– Thanks Kristal. Kristal– How does it feel to wear that Olympic gold medal? Cristóbal– It feels great, Kristal. Kristal– Did you ever think you would win an Olympic gold medal? Cristobal– I hoped that I would win but there were a lot of great tennis players at the Olympics. Kristal – Tell me how it felt to compete in the Olympic Games. Cristobal– Well, it was really exciting. I got to meet great athletes from all over the world. I got to meet some of my heroes in tennis and other sports. Kristal– What was your favorite part? Cristóbal– I think it was the moment, after I’d won the gold medal, when they were singing the national anthem. I felt so proud. Kristal– It must have also been an honor to carry the flag at the opening ceremony. Cristobal– Yeah. I can’t believe I was chosen to carry the flag. It was such an honor. The opening ceremony was so beautiful. It’s so inspiring to see athletes and spectators from all over the world together in one stadium. I think sports really bring people together. When we get together we realize that although we are from different cultures we have so much in common. Kristal – So how has your life changed since the Olympics? Cristobal – A lot. Right now I’m really busy. I have a lot of television appearances. Also, I’m going to start taping some television commercials next week. Kristal– Are you still going to have time for tennis? Cristobal – Of. Course. Kristal Torres 14.472.083 Cristóbal Leiva 18.286.842 http://www.inglesmundial.com/A9/dialog.htm Sports/Hobbies You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
