Report on SECON 2006 Statistics: 243 papers submitted (~20% more than last year), 236 reviewed (others withdrawn) 62 papers accepted (17 sessions) Best student paper: Anthony Rowe, Rahul Mangharam, Raj Rajkumar (Carnegie Mellon University), “RT-Link: A Time-Synchronized Link Protocol for Energy Constrained Multi-Hop Wireless Networks” Selected by a sub-committee among 6 nominations Overall, the conference was a success Overall attendance: 247 (including tutorials, 1-day etc; ~18% more than last year)

Wireless Communications Symposium 8. Wireless Networking Symposium 9. Ad-hoc and Sensor Networking Symposium 10. Next generation networks and Internet Symposium The titles of the symposia can vary slightly, but the number is limited to ten.
