EXPORT CERTIFICATIONEligible Product There are approximately 6,000 USDA federally inspected meat or poultry slaughter/processing establishments There are approximately 80 egg products establishments All meat, poultry and egg products produced at any U.S. federally inspected establishment are eligible for export

EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES FSIS inspection personnel issue ONE export certificate for each consignment Either at the time products leave the official production establishment, or Issued later, provided its identity as “inspected and passed” product is verified and product is reinspected.

U.S. EXPORT CERTIFICATES FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness, accompanies all consignments of edible meat and poultry products Certifies that product is from animals that received antemortem and postmortem inspection, has been “inspected and passed” provided by law and regulations of the USDA and is sound (fit for human consumption) and wholesome
