Title 9 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 322—Exports (meat) 381.104 – 381.107 (poultry) Part 590—Egg products EXPORT CERTIFICATIONEligible Product : EXPORT CERTIFICATIONEligible Product There are approximately 6,000 USDA federally inspected meat or poultry slaughter/processing establishments There are approximately 80 egg products establishments All meat, poultry and egg products produced at any U.S. federally inspected establishment are eligible for export OFFICIALMARK OF INSPECTION : OFFICIALMARK OF INSPECTION EXPORT CERTIFICATIONEligible Product : EXPORT CERTIFICATIONEligible Product Special requirements for exporting to foreign countries are published in the FSIS Library of Export Requirements www.fsis.usda.gov/ofo/export/explib.htm FSIS EXPORT DIRECTIVES : FSIS EXPORT DIRECTIVES FSIS DIRECTIVE 9000.1 Export Certification FSIS DIRECTIVE 9010.1 Export Products Returned to the United States EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES : EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES Application for export (FSIS Form 9060-6) Eligibility of product and producing establishment verified Product staged for reinspection EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES : EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES Containers marked with export stamp Health Certificate issued EXPORT CERTIFICATION : EXPORT CERTIFICATION EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES : EXPORT CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES FSIS inspection personnel issue ONE export certificate for each consignment Either at the time products leave the official production establishment, or Issued later, provided its identity as “inspected and passed” product is verified and product is reinspected.
