Commutative Property Just like with addition, you can also multiply numbers in any order
Example: 6 x 3 = 3 x 6
Associative Property :
Associative Property When you are only multiplying, you can group any of the numbers together.
Example: 5 x (4 x 8) = (5 x 4) x 8
Identity Property of One :
Identity Property of One The product of any number and one is equal to that number.
Example: 9 x 1 = 9
Property of Zero :
Property of Zero The product of any number and zero is zero.
Example: 9 x 0 = 0
Distributive Property :
Distributive Property When you multiply a number times a sum, you can find the sum first and then multiply, or multiply each number in the sum and then add the two products.
Example: 6 x (4 + 5) = (6 x 4) + (6 x 5)
6 x 9 = 24 + 30
54 = 54
