Example: 9 x 1 = 9
Property of Zero : Property of Zero The product of any number and zero is zero.
Example: 9 x 0 = 0
Distributive Property : Distributive Property When you multiply a number times a sum, you can find the sum first and then multiply, or multiply each number in the sum and then add the two products.
Example: 6 x (4 + 5) = (6 x 4) + (6 x 5)
6 x 9 = 24 + 30
54 = 54
