People reach to Jijoca by bus. From there the passengers are transferred to a “jardineira” with wooden seats…no doors…

Slide 4: 

… and…for one hour the vehicle goes through small villages…and then continues by the sand, crossing little streams that flow into the sea, stopping by the passage of the donkeys and “cebús” ….

Almost any car… only some motorcycles and buggies.. In the latest 80’s Jeri had neither piped water or electricity The streets are of sand…

Nowadays Jeri has piped water and electricity… but….the absence of street lights makes that the night in Jeri retains an especial charm…

The beauty of the beach…impresses the visitor… During the low tide, canoes and boats are laying on the sand
