Premium member Presentation Transcript PNC Active Lifestyle/ Walking Program : PNC Active Lifestyle/ Walking Program 2005PNC Active Lifestyle Program : PNC Active Lifestyle Program Active Lifestyle is a physical activity program that will be offered by the Employee Wellness Program in conjunction with the Presidential Council on Physical Fitness & Sports beginning July 6, 2004. Active Lifestyle provides the opportunity to earn the Presidential Adult Active Lifestyle Award.Program Overview : Program Overview Requirements for the award: There are two ways to keep track of the amount of physical activity for this award. Accumulate a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity each day. This activity can be done at one time for 30 minutes or broken up into segments that add up to 30 minutes in one day. You can also use a pedometer to keep track of steps in one day. 10,000 steps must be accumulated in one day using the pedometer.Slide4: Frequency: The amount of physical activity required must be done at least 5 days a week to earn the award. The activity can be done on your own or with others. Number of Weeks: The program lasts for six weeks. Keeping track of your physical activity: Record the amount of physical activity for each day.Log Sheet: Log Sheet Simply record the amount of physical activity for each day of the week in minutes, or numbers of steps taken. At the end of each week verify your log by signing your name next to that weeks log. After you have completed a week then please turn in that log sheet.
