Process: 

Process Notified in April Member selection Nine members chosen from eight different departments Met on eight different occasions Tried to meet at a different location each time Members chosen for past experience in citizen engagement as well as their positive attitudes and forward thinking personalities Meetings lasted between 60 and 90 minutes

Definition of Engagement: 

Definition of Engagement We defined engagement as first attracting interest and second gaining constructive feedback and participation from our community.

Mission Statement: 

Mission Statement Our mission is to research and suggest sustainable and measurable opportunities for the citizens, employees, and leaders, of the City of Grand Forks, to get involved and be engaged with our community.

Vision Statement: 

Vision Statement Our vision is to see a cohesive and collective set of programs, that are sustainable and obtainable, developed to promote multiple forms of engagement in the city of Grand Forks.
