Slide2: MCH-100-A was developed using COTS components. ISO 9001 certified heat gun components U.S. DOD contractor suppliers Bren-Tronics (battery system and charger) Skydyne (composite battery case) Fieldtex ( carry case with shoulder strap) Slide3: Safety of Operation The heat gun is safe to use around aircraft when operated in accordance with established maintenance procedures. Portable Lightweight No extension power cords No compressed air lines Rugged and Durable Slide4: Performs most aircraft electrical wire repairs requiring heat shrink & solder sleeve connections. Passed Explosive Atmosphere Test, MIL-STD-810F, Method 511.4 Meets MIL-STD-461D EMI emissions MIL-STD-HDBK-235 for radiated emissions susceptibility test. Meets MIL-STD-810 28800 section 4.5.5.4 for drop test, rain intrusion.Slide5: The MCH-100-A has successfully passed testing for operation in an explosive atmosphere. The tests were conducted using N-Hexane and JP-5 Aviation fuel. The test results indicate that: The Battery Powered MCH-100-A is safe to use around fueled aircraft when operated in accordance with established maintenance procedures. Slide6: Heat gun with quick disconnect and two standard shrink nozzles.Slide7: Two standard nozzles included with MCH-100-A for shrink sleeves and solder sleeve applications.Slide9: Lightweight (13 oz.) 300 watt heat gun maximum temp 1050°F. Other heating elements available for lower or higher temperature needs. 2.66 CFM air flow @ 16 mbar 48 volt rechargeable NiMH battery power supply. Average 25 minutes of continuous use with full charge. Overheating protection shuts tool off. Runs longer with intermittent use.Slide10: Durable storage bag with shoulder strap. Heavy duty composite power pack. Pockets for nozzles and other tools. Heat resistant pocket for the heat gun and soldering iron tools. Total weight of 13 pounds.Slide11: Batteries and charging systems are made by Bren-Tronics. Over 30 years of experience selling to the U.S.Military. There are more than 250,000 batteries and 30,000 charging systems in use today.Slide12: Charger has multi-voltage input power capacity of 12 VDC, 120/240 volts AC. Charging time of 2 hours for two batteries. Slide13: MCH-100-A includes two 24 volt NiMH smart batteries with patented thermal protection system, low voltage shut down feature, and LED gas gauge showing % of charge.
