Following the successful launching of our Classical and Semi-Classical Indian Dance Workshops in January this year, the Centre of Asian Studies' China-India Project is pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of a second visiting fellow, Mr. D. Raveendrakumar from Kala's Kalalaya Dance Academy, Chennai. Specialized in bollywood and Indian style of dances, Mr. Raveendrakumar has been training college students and artists for more than 9 years, choreographed for college and cultural events as well as performed at over 400 stage shows. In the workshop, Mr. Raveendrakumar will also be introducing other styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Freestyle and Fusion. The dance workshops will be held in the reading room of the Centre of Asian Studies (Room G4) of the Tang Chi Ngong Building. Interested staff and students can register by returning the completed reply form below on a first-come-first served basis. Confirmation of successful registration will be sent by e-mail.
