The following checks are performed in the maintenance of an aircraft:A check (Lighter Check): This is performed approximately every month or 500 Flight Hours B check (Lighter Check): This is performed approximately every 3 monthsC check (Heavy Check): This is performed approximately every 12–18 months D check (Heavy Check): This check occurs approximately every 4–5 years.
