About Sand and Stone :18.08.2009 AJT 3 About Sand and Stone
Slide 4:18.08.2009 AJT 4 This is a story about 2 friends who were walking through a forest.
At one particular point the two got into an argument and one friend hit the other in the face.
Slide 5:18.08.2009 AJT 5 The one who was hit was hurt, but without any word he wrote in the sand:
‘Today my best friend hit me in my face.’
Slide 6:18.08.2009 AJT 6 They walked on until they found an oasis where they decided to have a bath.
The one who had been hit got stuck in the mud and was drowning but the friend saved him
Slide 7:18.08.2009 AJT 7 When he came to, he carved in a stone:
‘Today my best friend saved my life’
Slide 8:18.08.2009 AJT 8 The friend who had hit his best friend then saved him asked:
‘After I hit you you wrote this in the sand and now you carved in the stone that I saved you, why did you do this?’
Slide 9:18.08.2009 AJT 9 The other friend answered:
‘When someone hurts us we must write it in the sand where the wind of forgiveness can blow it away’
Slide 10:But if someone does a good deed for you, we have to carve it in stone where no wind can blow it away.’
Slide 11:Learn to write the hurt in the sand and carve your good experiences in stone.
Slide 12:It is said that it takes only a minute to find extraordinary people, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but it takes a whole life to forget them.
Slide 13:Send this message to people you will never forget and also to the one who send it to you. It is a short message to let them know that you will never forget them.
Slide 14:If you don’t pass this on it means that
you are in a hurry and that you have forgotten your friends.
