Procedures for employees who remain to perform or shut down critical plant operations, operate fire extinguishers, or perform other essential services that cannot be shut down for every emergency alarm before evacuating; and

Description of the Building :Description of the Building The main library is located at the Greek Campus and consists of a ground floor and four repeated floors.
The entire building is constructed from non-combustible materials.
The entire building is equipped with an addressable fire alarm system

Location of evacuation routes and assembly points
Location of emergency control valves, eg: gas , power.
Method for contacting floor wardens
A Deputy/s is trained and available during your absence.
Emergency Actions :Emergency Actions Determine type and location of emergency.
Contact 6666 & 6000 and inform about the type of emergency.
Communicate with floor wardens.
If immediate evacuation is required, initiate controlled evacuation (using the public address system).
Receive reports from floor wardens as each section of the building is cleared.
Ensure that all personnel remain at their assembly points and do not return to the building until an all clear signal is given.

The other exit leads to Mohamed Mahmoud street (the outer door is also opened automatically in case of any fire alarm)
