Dr. Heisser Metoyer received her Ph.D. from the University of California. She completed an American Psychological Association-accredited clinical psychology fellowship from the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.
Selected as a Ms. Magazine Feminist Scholar and a participant in the National Women’s Studies Association Women of Color Leadership Project. Her views on issues related to minorities have been quoted frequently in the Daily Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times and CNN.
