A friend uploaded a powerpoint back in December, which was automatically converted to video. I've uploaded a slightly longer version of the same powerpoint we're working on together, and now I'm being told that I need to buy video credits because the PPT is over 5 minutes, but the original PPT was also over 5 minutes. Is this a change in rules since December?

Wish I hadn't just spent several hours and three tries to find out that I can only upload my PPT without converting it... Or am I simply not pushing the right buttons here...?

Yes

authorSTREAM has changed there video conversion policy. Now presentaiton upto tine 5 min got converted without any cost (free). If the presentaiton is more than 5 min & upto 45 min it will cost $2 per conversion. Presentation more than 45 min are not converted to video.

authorSTREAM has also launched there premium service you can see the link for detail

I uploaded my PPT and it converted to video without problem, and now I want to post it on YouTube (without the authorStream watermark). I bought a $2 video credit; now what? How do I get the video onto YouTube?

Hi,
You can see Send to You Tube option at http://www.authorstream.com/MyUploaded-Presentations/All page (right hand side to the presentation thumbnail).
Send to you tube option will be enabled automatically when video is converted.
(By using video credit you can convert videos without any watermark)
